South African Breweries (SAB) in association with Tavern Promotions will quench the travelers’ thirst at any of their three inflatable pubs: The Kilderkin, The Barrel or The Hogshead. For all the sport fans, you won’t have to worry about missing the Game. There will be plasma screen TV’s and DSTV connection in all pubs at the Dome to broadcast sporting events.

Travel Guru's tip of the week!

Don't expect everything to go well when you travel. It won't. Disasters always happen. You will be held up in endless queus (take along a small book to read, a thriller not requiring too much concentration). Be philosophical and never, ever lose your temper. It's pointless, will cause your blood pressure to rise and also cause the authorities with whom you are dealing, to be less sympathetic. A smile is always good even if you are wishing the nastiest thoughts.

Travel Health Tips by Pharmaco (Travelan):

TRAVEL HEALTH TIP #1

Prevention is better than cure! Avoid health related problems arising on your travels that could disrupt your trip. Plan in advance. Know the destination and the possible health problems that could arise. Be wise. Are your routine vaccinations up-to-date? Consult a travel medicine provider at least six weeks prior to departure.

TRAVEL HEALTH TIP #2

Pack wisely. A first-aid kit is invaluable. Ensure that you have sufficient supplies of your chronic medication and a letter of what you are taking. Pack sufficient medication for two weeks in your hand luggage so you have a supply should your luggage go missing.

TRAVEL HEALTH TIP #3
Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink? Is the water supply safe? Can one use ice-cubes in drinks? Travellers’ diarrhoea can occur in about 20 – 60% of travellers and will send many travellers running. Prevention and early treatment is paramount. Consult your travel medicine provider.
